Are you curious about the gender of the tiny tenant who's been subletting your uterus for the past nine months? I know I was! This article provides some popular old wives tales and myths that women use to determine their baby's gender.

Morning Sickness: If you are have severe morning sickness you could be having a girl.

The Shape of Your Belly: Did you know that some women believe that the shape of their belly determines if they are having a boy or a girl? If you are carrying your baby high then you are most likely having a girl. If you're carrying your baby low then you are having a boy.

Heartrate: If the heartrate is less then 140 beats per minute that can mean you are having a baby girl. You are having a baby boy if the heartrate goes over 140 beats per minute. This is usually considered an old wives tale.

Ring Test: This test usually uses the couple's wedding ring. If your wedding ring when suspended over your belly moves in a strong circular motion, this usually means you're having a girl. If it moves to side to side, you're having a boy.

If you are craving salty food you could be having a boy.

If you are you are craving sweet things you could be having a girl.

If you find yourself being more moody then usual you could be having a girl.

If you find that your skin tends to become dry you could be having a boy.

Your baby is very active, this usually means you are having a boy.

If you are craving sour foods, the old wives tale predicts you will be having a boy.
