We have all seen them before. Whether it was accidentally or purposefully, every student knows that there are free term papers on the internet. There are thousands of sites that contain free term papers on virtually every topic you could ever need. Even though they can be found all over the internet, many students are still skeptical of how valuable these free online term paper. If you are curious about whether or not tracking down a free online term paper for your class is worth your time and effort, consider the following three issues:

Plagiarism: In case you forgot, college professors also have computers. And on these computers, they have the internet. And in most cases, they have extremely powerful tools that can identify in seconds whether or not your term paper was plagiarized from another source. This means that by pushing a few buttons, your professor will quickly see that your term paper is not actually your own, but instead the work of someone else. Not only will you get a zero for your paper, you may also face further consequences. Most colleges have extremely strict policies when it comes to cheating and plagiarism, so if you get caught using a paper that's not your own, you may be facing an F for the class, academic probation and in some extreme cases, expulsion! If this isn't enough to convince you that using a free online term paper is a bad idea, consider the following two issues surrounding free online term papers:

Quality: Most of the time, free online term paper are not very high quality. The majority of the sites that provide free online term papers will accept any term paper. This means that the papers are not reviewed or judged on the basis of their quality. Therefore, if you choose to use a free online term paper, chances are the quality of it will be much lower than what you normally turn in. Even if your professor does not find out that your paper is plagiarized, they will almost always notice that the quality is lower than normal and give you a lower grade.

Chain Reaction: In most classes, any paper that are assigned relates to a central concept of that specific class. The purpose of most papers is to make you take the time and effort to gain a deeper understanding of that specific course material. By assigning a paper, a professor is able to put you in a position that forces you to spend a significant amount of time focusing on a particular idea or concept.

If you choose to use a free online term paper, you are completely skipping over the learning process that your professor intends for you to undergo. Although not every class follows this pattern, many of them have two main requirements. The first requirement is a term paper, and the second one is a comprehensive test. So, if you decide that its a great idea to get a free online term paper because you are not interested in the subject, take a minute and think about what you are going to do when its time to take a test that contains questions about the same material. Since you did not take the time to learn about it in the first place, trying to answer detailed questions on a test will be virtually impossible.
