How May I Serve Humanity With Humility? What Can I Do?

My beautiful Mother told me, "go help people!"
My beautiful Father told me, "mind your own business!"

I would say, "but Dad, MaMa' tells me to help people."

He would say, "I know but you go help people that don't want your help. They think you want something, or they think you are medaling in their business."

"Dad, I don't want anything, I just want to help people."

He would say, "then you have to say, can I give you a hand with that? Could I give you my opinion on that? No! you just go help people without their permission. That's why you are always in trouble or being sent to the principals office."

I was always in the principals office for talking too much. The Principal had a microphone on the wall. I was seven years young. I said to myself, if I could reach that microphone, I could talk to the whole school and help people.

If you have a dream in your heart long enoug, you have what it takes to make that dream come true. This was told to me by a fellow professional speaker years ago. Another professional speaker told me to just be yourself, and let everyone else be who they are, and you will do just fine.

We all have something to contribute, just by being. No one has your finger prints, DNA, or thinking. Will Rogers a political humurous said, "Show me two people that think alike, and I will show you one that is not thinking!"

At first dreams seem impossible, then they seem improbable, then the seem inevitable. Christopher Reeves
