If you are like most people, you have been looking for a "miracle" way on how to lose stubborn belly fat.

Finding great information on how to lose stubborn belly fat is can be a tough thing. You are constantly bombarded by information about the latest and great way to lose stubborn belly fat.

In your efforts to lose stubborn belly fat, have you tried weight watchers, zone diet, atkins diet, south beach diet, etc.? If so, did they work? I can probably answer that question for you by saying yes and no. Yes, it worked at first, but then you went back to your old ways.

When most people being a diet to lose stubborn belly fat, more often than not it works great in the beginning because they are excited and enthusiastic. But when those emotions begin to wear off after a few weeks, it is very easy to start cheating on your diet.

One of the main flaws of this approach to losing stubborn belly fat is that it is what I call a "kind of" way of diet. After being on the fad diet for a few weeks, your diet goes from being great to just "kind of" good. Once you get to this "kind of" stage, the quality of food and the overall number of calories is likely to change for the worse.

I am not going to tell you how important diet is to losing stubborn belly fat because you already know that. But if you had some tools to help you other than just with diet, you will likely see faster and more permanent results.

What I want to show you in this article is how exercising can be the missing link to losing stubborn belly fat.

The main goal for exercise to lose stubborn belly fat comes down to these 3 things:

1. Burning calories

2. Increasing your metabolism

3. Adding lean muscle mass

We can accomplish these three goals and finally start to lose stubborn belly fat if you combine two key elements of exercise: circuit strength training and interval training.

1. Strength training in a "circuit"

Strength training is a great way to lose stubborn belly fat because it adds lean muscle mass. This will increase your metabolism and help you to burn more calories while exercise and while at rest.

If you do not strength train at all in your quest to lose stubborn belly fat, you are denying yourself of amazing results!

Strength training in a circuit means that you keep moving from exercise to exercise. You do not do 10 reps then rest for a minute, then do 10 more. Instead, you do 10-15 reps of one exercise, then go to another, then another, etc. This keeps you moving and burns a lot of calories!

2. Interval training instead of boring "same speed" cardio

Have you ever gone to the gym and and gotten on a cardio machine for 30-60 minutes at the same speed? If so, your efforts to lose stubborn belly fat are suffering!

Yes, you can lose stubborn belly fat by doing this. But, this type of cardio does nothing to increase your metabolism! The more your body adapts, the longer and harder your session has to be to keep challening yourself.

A better way to lose stubborn belly fat with cardio is called interval training. It involves alternating between high and low intensities. Here is an example:

5 minutes: warm up

2 minutes: slow

30 secs-1 min: fast (repeat slow/fast interval 3-6 times)

5-10 minutes: cool down

This shortens your overall time, and it is a lot more fun than same speed cardio. Best of all, the high intensity periods are great for raising your metabolism, and in turn helping you to lose stubborn belly fat!

Remember that losing stubborn belly fat does not have to be a challenge. If you combine this type of workout routine 3 times per week with a great diet, your results should be all but guaranteed!

Your safety should always come first, so be sure to check with a medical doctor before beginning an exercise program.
