Computer Security: Zone Alarm (Anti Virus)
The two most recommended anti virus programs are
Symantec (norton antivirus) MacAfee
"both have different versions" they can have internet security and firewall built in,and I've tried them both with minor problems and conflicts so I just couldn't be bothered.
Myself I've always been a fan of Norton antivirus, until they "incorporated the activation" of there product to be used with a one year subscription to there updates. Then there are no more updates after that year is up.
But there is an alternative to these two, for instance I've been using Zone Alarm Pro for many years now, since about 1999, while I was out looking for a copy of Norton antivirus, I came across Zone Alarm Pro with antivirus since I've trusted Zone Alarm Pro for so long, and trusted the program. And with a $20.oo price in difference. I decided to give it a try, not only do you get a firewall that's been there main program for so many years it now comes with anti virus software. I really liked the idea because I really don't like having conflicting programs "not that the two are known for that", but having a two in one bundle, makes it a lot easier to learn the two programs in one package seems to work a lot smother.
Zone Alarm does have a free version (with no expiration) only for there firewall program unfortunately and maybe an ad asking to upgrade once in a while
