7 Natural And Home Remedies For Acne And Pimples

Acne is a common skin condition that affects almost everyone at some point in their lives. Pimples cannot be attributed to any one reason. Pimples can be caused due to a combination of circumstances such as diet, age and lifestyle habits. Acne pimples can affect anyone at any time. Breakouts can range from a few pimples here and there to having them all over the face and back. Whatever the situation is, no one should have to suffer with acne.

Some of the simplest treatments for acne can be found using ingredients found right at home. Natural pimple treatments are most effective in solving mild acne problems.

1. Apply a paste of fresh methi (fenugreek) leaves over the face every night for 10-15 minutes and washed with warm water. This will prevent pimples, blackheads, and wrinkles.

2. Food intake and control is an important step in arresting the growth of pimples. Pimples can be controlled by adhering to simple pimple diet tips such as: Avoid excessive consumption of oily, fried and sugar foods. Control and ensure limited intake of tea, coffee and alcohol - Diet must comprise of fresh vegetables, fruits and nuts.

3. Cut a tomato in half and rub on the skin. Leave on for fifteen minutes. Wash it off with water. This will reduce open pores and blackheads. This treatment is good particularly for oily skin.

4. The best approach to treating pimples is to prevent them from happening in the first place. Wash your face daily with a mild facial soap, and avoid touching your face in order to prevent the oils and dirt on your fingers from becoming trapped in the pores. Clean the frames of glasses and sunglasses to remove any excess oil.

5. Apply grated potatoes as poultice to treat skin blemishes, wrinkles, boils, pimples, blackheads, whiteheads , etc. This is one of the best natural acne treatment.

6. Use non oily makeup and follow an appropriate skin cleansing regime. Avoid use of products containing isopropyl isostearate, isopropyl palmitate, isopropyl myristate, socetyl stearate & sodium chloride which may aggravate pimples.

7. Make a sandalwood paste with rose water and apply on the scars. Keep it overnight and wash it with cold water the next day. If you find that your skin becomes dry in the morning, leave the paste only for a few hours on your face or you may try adding some milk while making paste.
