People, women especially, may think that mens suits Vancouver are all the same. However, there are many different types of mens suits and different times to wear them. Just as women have various dresses and different occasions in which they should wear them, men, too have various combinations of fabrics, cuts and styles and they should be worn only at specific times. Most mens clothing may look the same, but when one really looks at it, they find there are a lot of differences in each piece.

There are several different styles of suits for men, business suits are probably the most popular, paired with mens dress shirts, these are worn by millions of men everyday to office buildings across the world. The business suit is different then something a man would wear to a party, date or the theater. Business suits are no-nonsense and have a certain cut as do the other types of suits.

A suit must fit a man perfectly because unlike a woman's dress or skirt and shirt, there is no belt or accessory that will help to make a suit look better. Anything added to a suit will make it look worse, unless it is a tie or a handkerchief in the lapel pocket. Adding a belt will not help a suit fit a man better, it will make the suit look bad. This is why it is important to purchase a suit that fits a man or have it altered to fit him.

Mens fashion is different then women's because men do not typically go for the accessories like purses, scarf's or jewelry. The only thing a man really has to rely on is his mens shoes or maybe a pair of designer jeans under a sports coat. The way a man carries himself in his clothes is part of the overall way mens clothing is looked at. The same could be said for women, but again, women can rely on accessories to draw the eye away from something where as a man only has himself in a suit or sports coat to make a statement.

There are many different types of suits for men such as the power suit, the interview suit, the work suit and the office suit. Both of these last suits could be classified in the business suit area but there are subtle differences in these types of suits. Beginning with a power suit, which every man should own, it is a navy blue in color and most likely has black or light white pinstripes layered into the fabric. These pinstripes are subtle and not overtly 'out there'. These are great suits for meeting with the boss, giving a presentation or holding a meeting on Monday morning.

The interview suit is probably the most important suit a man will wear. Like it or not, a man will be judges on appearance before accomplishments in a job interview situation. Women are going to be the same way; it's the way things are done in the business world, unfortunately. So the interview suit must be something appropriate for the job and also clean, pressed and make a statement about what a good person the man is. Power suits are not really suggested in this situation. Depending on what type of job a man is interviewing for will determine the suit. A job at a newspaper will need a different suit than a job interview at a bank.

Mens dress shoes should always match the suit in terms of black should be the norm with brown only being worn with white pants or mens jeans. Jeans should never be worn to an interview situation and unless working for a construction company or a dress down Friday situation is set up, then jeans should be left at home for casual dating or other times.

Mens suits Vancouver will be able to help a man decide which suit is best for what occasion he needs it for. In addition to business suits, power suits, interview suits and casual suits, there are also vintage and disco suits. The disco and vintage suits will most likely be worn for dates or nights out on the town. These are not work suits. They also have their own style of shoes and shirts.
