(Make sure to avoid sports drinks and fruit drinks while working out.) Now the other half of this equation is to avoid salt and wheat products. Both of these retain even more water than your body does naturally. Wheat products, in particular, retain water in your midsection, right where you don't want fat! Common wheat products that models avoid are pasta, bread, pastries, donuts and cakes, basically anything with "wheat" or "wheat flour" in it. When you are looking to lose fat, this is top priority in your strategy!
