Well ladies I hate to be the one to inform you, but Father Time has caught up with you. The first time you set foot in this school you found out real fast that you would not just be killing time and you would have plenty of time to do all the things you wanted. At the time you thought that it would be a long time before it would be time to go.
The principal expected you to be on time, take time for outside duty, know the time of day and you were to take very little time off. Sometimes after a hard day and the district wanted you at an after school workshop you felt like you were in a time warp with no down time. You have helped kids learn their times tables, learn how to tell time, and repeated a thousand times" this time you are in time out". You have spent so much time getting not paid for overtime that it has become a past time. You have spent a life time preparing lessons, a stitch in time doing what you wanted and felt like you were running out of time about this time every year.
Due to a wrinkle in time, from when you first started until now, the time has arrived for you to double time it out of here. We have had some hard times together and some high times, also. We have spent many lunch times and meal times enjoying each others company. But there is a time for all things and now it is time for you to enter a new time zone. The timing is just right. Time after time you have wanted to do something and time and again you couldn't because you had to go to school. Now you can.
It's play time, you can have a lot of personal time, and there is no time limit.
Your time is up and you need to take time off. Enjoy your retirement before you start living on borrowed time. Take some personal time before your time runs out. Kill some time it is not against the law and they can't put you in jail for doing so. Take time to enjoy your life before you run out of time. And, in due time you will not wake up before the alarm goes off, roll over in bed and say What time is it anyways? WHO CARES
