Here are 10 inexpensive ways to add 10 Ways to Go Green and Save Money at the Same Time into your life without throwing your budget plans in the toilet.

1. Safety Razors - The bulk-packs of flat razor blades are not only affordable, they come without all of the extra plastic that ends up in land fills. Flat packs of blades store very well in a minimal amount of space.

2. Mineral Salt Deodorant Sticks - They last an incredibly long time, don't contain any harmful ingredients, and as with the safety razor idea listed above, don't come with a ton of plastic packaging to throw in the land fill once the product is gone. It also takes up a small amount of space in the back pack.

3. Use Green VPS Hosting - Just think of all the power a datacenter uses, find a eco-friendly VPS hosting provider to host your webpage!

4. Give Up Paper Towels - OK, to be honest. I ended up using several fabric sleeves with elastic on both ends . . . you know, the kind most people use to store plastic grocery bags in? I hung one in each place we used paper towels. When we need to grab something to wipe up a spill or do a quick clean up, we can now reach for a washable rag instead of a paper towel.

5. Recycle Old Athletic Socks - Not possible you say? I beg to differ. The left over foot portion is what I use instead of those bank breaking disposable dusting mittens. The other ribbed section, especially if it is ribbed the whole length of the piece, is great to cut up one side and use for a great moisture holding dish rag. The rimple give you extra cleansing power too.

6. Shopping for Second Hand Goods - This applies to furniture, clothing, toys, kitchen ware, and even to a certain extent, automobiles. This personal finance procedure goes a quite a long way to helping out the planet and your pocketbook at the same time.

7. Think Before You Print - Still think you really need it? Check out the econo mode for printing which will use less ink and save you money in the long run on those refillable cartridges.

8. Celebrate the Power of Tie-Dye - This is a great cheap way to give lightly stained, lighter colored linens and clothing a second shelf life.

9. Find a Second Use for Those Plastic Grocery Bags - Use them in small trash cans (one less item to buy), pick up after your animal in the park or provide extra stuffing in those holiday postal packages.

10. Consider a Personal Filter for Your Kitchen Faucet -

There you go. Ten ways that won't break your budget or the planet. Have another idea?
