The term "Panic Attack" suggests that there is some kind of threat present and you need to prepare for some kind of fight. The truth is that there is no threat and there is no danger. Your body is reacting to anxiety and naturally bracing itself for some kind of collision. Anxiety is defined as a state of apprehension or fear resulting from the anticipation of a real or imagined threat, event, or situation. It is one of the most common human emotions experienced by people at some point in their lives. A panic attack may leave the person feeling utterly exhausted afterward. This may be caused by the flood of adrenaline and other stress hormones released when the panic attack starts.
One of the main symptoms of panic attack is tightness in your chest, that could lead you to believe you are having a heart attack. In fact, panic attack and hearth attack can have surprisingly similar symptoms.
