Make Money on eBay - Creating a Listing Title

Make money on eBay by creating listing titles that stand apart the crowd. Sellers have only 55 characters to accomplish this task. Invest the time to use those characters wisely. While it takes time and effort, the extra sales will make it worth your effort.

There are many key pieces of information that should be included in every listing title. Use all of the 55-allotted characters, and not one character more. Make money on eBay by investing the time to include as much key information as possible in every listing title. Key information to include:

� Describe what the item is. For example: if it is a package of vitamins or supplements, list specifically what vitamins or supplements are contained in the item. Invest a little time to conduct some key word research to determine what key words to use. For example, if you sell Bed-In-A-Bag items, they are the same as Bed Ensemble. However, will always draw more traffic and bids.

� Brand Name (If it is a name brand that buyers will recognize, it should be included.)

� To make your listing stand out try using all capital letters on the first word, or only the brand name. Never use all caps on the whole title!

If you have characters left, use eBay approved abbreviations. For example, NWT (New With Tags). These can be located through 'HELP' - just type in the word 'abbreviation' and an abbreviation glossary will appear.

Make money on eBay by using words and abbreviations in the title that a buyer will type in the search box when seeking an item like you are selling. Use your listing title to draw eager buyers to your auction listings.
