Hair loss can affect people in vastly different ways. Some associate it positively with maturity and the natural winding down of the metabolism. Others, for various reasons, consider it a major disaster. If your hair is healthy then it is more likely not to fall out although often you are simply delaying the process. There are natural remedies and shop bought products and these may or may not work for your hair loss.

1. Avoid washing the hair with hot water. Hot water dries out the scalp. Never ever brush or comb the hair when they are wet. Wet hair are the weakest and get damaged very easily. Towel-dry hair, and then brush them. Avoid hair driers.

2. Green apples are not something most people eat, and for good reason, considering their effects on the digestive system. But studies have shown that a natural compound extracted from green apple skins may be an effective natural hair loss remedy. This compound, called a polyphenol, has been shown to increase hair growth in men with male pattern baldness.

3. You should avoid using hair products such as gels, hairsprays and creams as these will be full of chemicals that are bad for your hair. You should also ensure that you wash and treat your hair after swimming and exposed time in the sun. Chlorine in water and sunlight can both damage your hair and although you don't want to avoid these things you can help by treating your hair afterwards. Stress can also cause your hair to fall out so you will need to try and avoid all stressful situations if you can.

4. One of the most common hair root regrowth treatments is the use of essential oils. Not only do they stimulate the scalp but also allow the hair to grow faster. Rosemary, jojoba, lavender and olive oil when applied to the scalp can be very beneficial for hair growth. Take a small amount of the oil in your hand and apply it to the areas where the hair is thinning out. Leave it overnight and then using a mild shampoo, wash off the excess oil from the hair.

5. Massage: Regular scalp and neck massage has significant preventive and curative benefits for the hair and scalp. A massage stimulates sluggish hair follicles back in to action. Massaging augments the blood supply to the scalp, thus, providing greater oxygen and adequate vital nutrients, necessary for good hair growth. It also decreases stiffness and tension knots in the shoulders, nape of the neck, and back of the head, which also helps enhance the blood supply.

6. You can also add omega 3 fatty acids to your diet by eating salmon, mackerel, sardines, lake trout, or albacore tuna. Not only will your hair be healthy and shiny, but your heart will thank you, too. This is one of the best hair loss treatment.

7. You can apply it topically to your hair by mixing soybean or canola oil with coconut oil. Warm the oils slightly, and rub a small amount into your hair at night. You may want to wrap your head in a towel to protect your pillow. Wash it out in the morning, using a mild herbal-based shampoo.

8. Protein is very good for your hair and eating foods which are high in protein will help your hair loss. As well as your diet you should look after your hair well and ensure that you use the correct shampoo for your hair. If the hair treatments are too harsh then this can cause your hair to suffer and fall out. You should try to use a very mild shampoo and ensure that you wash your hair correctly.
