November 20, 2006 (Los Angeles, CA) - Lost in all the hoopla surrounding the Notre Dame-USC action this week, is the fact that USC is 20-0 in November and December during the Pete Carroll reign in California.

This is an incredible week for Sports fans and my suggestion is that you join the thousands of Americans who use www.superbook.com as their online wagering store, for all sports.

They have installed USC as a -7 ½ point pick over Charlie Weiss's troops and many fans are hoping for a repeat of last year's incredible finish in South Bend when Reggie Bush pushed Matt Leinhart into the end zone in the dying seconds.

While some Football insiders have questioned USC's ability this year, the proof is in how they do against the tough teams. They opened the season mauling Arkansas in that state and the Razorbacks are a Top 10 team. Then the Nebraska Cornhuskers came to the Coliseum and they were sent back to Lincoln with their tails between their legs, after losing 28-10. This past weekend they played Cal with the PAC 10 title on the line and came away 23-10 winners and made a talented offensive team, looked very ordinary.

Notre Dame has of late has been mowing down some rather inferior opposition in Army, North Carolina, Air Force, Navy and Stanford, so they are going to have to adjust to a higher tempo when they face Booty, Jarrett and Smith. On the plus side though, is this school is use to being in the limelight, so the bright lights, are not going to blind them.

This game is going to play a huge role in who plays Ohio State for the National Championship, as Michigan is screaming for another shot at the Buckeyes and Arkansas and Florida are crying out as well.

The over/under total of 56 ½ may seem high, but Notre Dame's defense is awful and if they fall behind by a large amount early, USC's defense may let up and you could see a 45-28 score.

Happy Thanksgiving!
