Life's eternal questions lead you to the spirituality information that ultimately provides your spiritual growth. It is in the continual asking of Life's larger questions that you expand your horizons and see life from entirely different perspectives. Here are a few to start you off.
Does my individual struggle to meet my basic needs serve me? Does my participation in a society that kills people and destroys this planet serve me? If you believe it does then continue to make those choices. If you believe that you are not being served by your choices then you may want to choose again from the infinite variety of choices that are available to you.
Perhaps you believe that if you only had some clear answers to the larger questions of life then you could see where you fit into this bigger scheme of things and thereby more easily see "what serves you."
That's why you are reading this article. You created the fact that you are reading this article right now to help you with your evolvement. You wouldn't be reading these words if you weren't on a quest for some answers to Life's questions.
You know, deep within you, that life was not intended to be an on-going struggle that you must endure. You know, deep within you, that when you allow yourself to observe and be a part of nature that all your worry and frustration just drops away. You know, deep within you, that whenever you express love, you seem more fulfilled with the essence that is you. You know, deep within you, that there is a part of you, a silent witness, that is always with you and never ages and never changes and always sounds the same when it talks to you as you make the innermost decisions about your life.
You are requesting some answers to these deep inner questions so that you can reach some clarity about yourself. So that you can clearly see "what serves you" and "what does not serve you."
Let us pose two of these larger Life questions to help you reach your objective:
1)Why did God create the universe in the first place?
2)What is our purpose in that creation?
Your spiritual growth has caused you to seek answers to larger than life questions. Here is the first one. "Why did God create the universe in the first place?" God created the universe of relativity so that God could know experientially all that she knows conceptually in the realm of the absolute.
Simple, yet complex. But here is the good deal. We get the simple part and we let God and the universe handle the complex part. We occupy this physical relative universe and God takes care of the details. Could it be this simple? Why not? Have you heard of any other explanation that makes more sense? Have you ever actually heard of any other explanation ever of why God created the universe? Can you see how this explanation of the origins of the universe helps you to see the bigger picture of Life?
We are getting close here but we still need to answer our second question. "What is our purpose in the creation of the universe?" Answering this question will help us to tie it all together. Let us continue with our narrative so we can personalize what the reasoning was behind God's original creation and what part we, as human beings, play in that creation.
I love this part of the story because by viewing the whys and wherefores of our existence in the larger context of the overall creation of the universe, we can illuminate more clearly who we really are. This knowledge of who you really are will help you to see and know yourself from a much different perspective than you may currently be experiencing.
As Albert Einstein said, you can only get revolutionary ideas by changing the way you are thinking and thinking different thoughts. So let's use Einstein's thesis and see where these different thoughts take us.
Here is your assignment and I am giving you this assignment because you already know all there is to know. All you need do is put your attention on the question at hand and the universe has no recourse but to bring you the answer. The question once again is, "What is your purpose in the creation of the universe."
What? You thought I was going to give you all the answers in this one short article? Why should I have all the fun? Remember what Einstein told us, "You need to think different thoughts."
