If placing it indoors, make sure it can withstand the humidity, being bumped and touched. A large number of people tend to keep their living areas extremely warm. Having the heat turned up indoors tends to cause humidity and if the bow is poorly made the stitching will unravel. And remember that people love to touch. This causes many things to happen to your bow over time.

If placing your bow outdoors you need to first make sure it is intended for outdoor use. The one thing that seems to happen a lot is that someone will buy a bow and place it outside without looking to see if it is supposed to be outdoors or indoors. Then as Murphy's law starts it's calling it rains or the wind starts up and they are not able to get out there to take it down right away. This can cause your bow to be destroyed.

There are many things to consider when placing the bow outside. Wind is the biggest factor. Being knocked around can cause many things to happen to a bow like being ripped or torn. Even the grommet holes can be loosened causing them to no longer support what ever is being used to hold your bow up. Even the rain and the sun can cause the material to weaken over time. All material weakens over time.

So look for quality workmanship. Notification on wither it is an indoor bow or outdoor bow before costing yourself more than necessary.

Have fun picking out your bow.
