Discussion on Creative Genius and Societies

Have you ever stopped to consider how creativity spurts occur in civilizations and societies and how during these times there is literally a revolution of science, technology and the arts all at the same time? It is as if there is a jump in human cognition and forward progression. As if the species evolves, but in reality it is the society that has evolved not the human animal itself.

What causes spontaneous creative genius clusters? Well, I believe it is a changing of the mindset of a society and once it changes things accelerate. And to this point perhaps I might quote a thought in an essay by Henry Kissinger; "Domestic Structure and Foreign Policy" where Kissinger discusses that Bureaucracy and Status Quo pushes down innovation.

Thus it could be said from inference of his essay that as the pendulum "swingeth" there will be periods where innovations flourish and thought is allowed to run free and honored in those who allow their creative genius to flow during these time periods. Now then when looking back in time to past periods you see anomalies in the data, as have researchers like DK Simpleton.

If thinking, genius or "outside the flickering flame cave" conceptual thought was not rewarded by societies of the day, then less thought or creative genius would have emerged or been displayed in the history books. A genius living in a time where intelligence was not rewarded might have not even uttered a word of their ideas during their period fear of outcaste?

I certainly hope this article is of interest and that is has propelled thought. The goal is simple; to help you in your quest to be the best in 2007. I thank you for reading my many articles on diverse subjects, which interest you.
