The term of Acne was invented by Greeks and it covers vast manifestations including pimples, whiteheads, blackheads and skin micro-cysts. It is a condition in which the clogged skin pores are transforming into small pustules that sometimes get inflamed.
If you have Acne then you know it will not go away by itself and that treatment is a must.

Here are some tips in helping you deal easier with Acne:

Leave the pimples alone! Do not fall into the temptation of squeezing the pimples or the whiteheads. All these pustules are inflamed and you will only make them worse as you will amplify the inflammation when you squeeze them. Also, an infection can occur because squeezing a whitehead will open that clogged pore and all its content will sloop on the skin leading to the formation of a pimple. Doctors say that you can squeeze a pimple only if it has a yellow head, meaning that pus has formed inside. This operation must be done with clean hands and only by pressing gently on the pimple.

Change the make-up products. Oily products are responsible for Acne too. The pigments from the composition of foundation, red make-ups, creams and lotions are not causing Acne, the oil from them does. This is why girls that use make up must be careful what products they apply on their skin especially if their skin is oily or they have Acne. They should only use special make-up products designed for Acne skin.

Remove the make-up before going to bed. This is a rule all girls should respect even though they their skin might be flawless. A gentle oil-free cleanser can do wonders in an Acne skin if used in the morning and in the evening. During the night the skin needs to be clean, free of all the make-ups and impurities that get on the skin during a regular day. The reparatory processes of the skin take place during the night when we relax and this is why the skin needs to be clean when going to bed so that Acne skin can heal properly.

Could it be the birth control pill? Some studies have been made and it seems that Acne can occur in women that have used the pill and have stopped using it in the last 10 days. There are some pills that contain Ethinylestradiol and Cyproteron Acetat and are good for an Acne skin. They will provide contraception and will clear the Acne from your skin. The problem is that in some cases Acne reappears if the pill is not used any more.

Stop Acne from spreading. The anti-Acne medication should be applied on a larger skin area not only on the affected area as Acne tends to spread from nose towards ears so it is necessary to prevent that from happening. You should apply the special cream with one centimeter further that the affected area.

Just follow these tips and you will see that your Acne problem will not be so difficult to handle any more and you will have a healthy skin again.
