Computer has caught the imagination of motley members of the society in an unprecedented manner. No one wants to lag behind in the race of computer "savvyness". With the pleasant invasion of Internet, the effect has taken greater impact. People may fall behind in myriad aspects of the PC but they need not work much hard to hone their typing skills. A variety of typing games have flooded the market to enable us in gaining the required typing alacrity. Many typing games are based on mind's capability to absorb a particular matrix of stimulation. To explain, this means that the mind can read a data and accordingly frame the related response. Typing games catch on this reflexive ability of the mind. Few of the more famous games are Alpha attack, Arachnid Falls, Fowl Words 2, Keyboard defender, QWERTY warriors, ( based on the first 6 letters of the keyboard) typing masters. Keyboarding games can be played online. There are diverse typing tests being floated online, which can help us fathom our typing talents with near precision. These act as mock tests and invariably refine us with each passing day. A typing game reference might make it more clearly comprehensive. This game can be played either offline or online. It asks a player to burst the balloons that keep falling from the upper edges of the display monitor. Each balloon has a letter typed on it. Corresponding to these letters, we have to type keys on the keypad. With each successful typing, a balloon gets burst. This is how we accumulate points. As we gain levels, the speed at which the balloons fall increase, similarly, their frequency increases as well. We can easily fathom how this game can improve our faculties to type. To add the competitive spice, there are sites that enable a player with the fun and adventure of combat. More than one player can play together. Each has a score tracker; one with the higher number of points automatically wins. Unlike demeaning competitiveness, this one can help build typing skills faster. Let's evaluate the pattern that few other typing games follow: Keyboarding- This game incorporates a new wave thought. All the letters of the keyboard are reassigned and we have to type on the keyboard with displaced letters. Typo 2- This is based on precepts of real fast typing. Once we fall behind, we are cast out of the game. The rule is evidently simple. Keypad key balls- This is another invigorating typing game which asks us to hold on to the bouncing letter balls. This is a test of our dual powers of typing and reflexes. Focal points- This typing game seeks in its players the ability to snap letters while they pass through different numbers. This again is a test of reflex. Added to this, both our typing and focus are honed. Playing these typing games can be fun. In addition to this, it also brings us at par with our more professional peers. Computer wizardry can be more encompassing once it is mixed with proper typing skills.
