New X-Ray Machines at Airports that See Through Clothing

I recently watched a very brief news report regarding the new security x-ray machines which will be implemented in all major airports. These x-ray machines see through a persons clothing to their naked body.

Does invasion of privacy ring a bell? Where will these x-ray pictures be sent to? Whom are the people viewing these pictures? Let us start with the guards at airports.

The security guards at airports, as well as the people who check your luggage as you walk through the metal detectors, are employed by private security companies. I will assume (although I am probably incorrect) that the employers do a background check on the people they hire. Will only women view women's bodies? Will children also have their bodies exposed to strange eyes? It is obvious children will not be viewing children's bodies. Are we creating new jobs for pedophiles? Voyeurs will have a field day if they are hired to man these machines. Will who will be viewing these naked bodies have a way of keeping selective pictures, such as young teenage girls or boys?

After these pictures are viewed by whomever, are the pictures recorded and sent to a main terminal? Where do they go from there? Will they be stored along with fingerprints and DNA? Will private companies have access because these files will be sent through them to Homeland Security? Or will there be a special computer file of young nubile bodies to be viewed by anyone that has clearance. If I remember correctly, three employees of Homeland Security have already been arrested as pedophiles.

It is illegal to expose your body in public. Why does it then become legal to force anyone to expose their body to strangers? It is illegal to look at people undressing or undressed without their permission. This becomes a gray area because if anyone does not give their permission, that person will not be able to board an airplane.

I do not know who thought of or approved this idiotic idea. I do know if I have to travel within the continental United States I will drive. If, for any reason I have to cross the oceans, I will probably go by boat. It is not that I have such a great body, but it is my body and I have to right to choose who sees it.

Just how far will we allow our rights to be trampled on in the name of national security.
