Do you want to learn how to make money selling on ebay? Thousands and thousands of average people just like you have made a full time income just by selling on ebay. From it's humble beginning in a garage in 1994, ebay has become the largest flea market on the internet with millions of dollars of transactions taking place every day.

To make money selling on ebay is not that difficult. Just find some stuff in your house or near your neighborhood and sell it on ebay. This is how I and many people got started. I started on ebay by wanting to get rid of stuff I would probably throw away but decided to sell on ebay to see if I could make some money.

However, if you really want to make more money selling on ebay, you probably realize you need a constant supply of items to sell on ebay. You need to start treating it as a business in order to make more profits and go full time on it.

There are a couple of strategies on how you can go about finding items to sell on ebay to make money. The most common is buying wholesale products or doing dropshipping.

While you can make money selling on ebay this way, after a while, I start to encountered several crucial problems.

Difficulty in finding wholesale/dropship suppliers

It is difficult to find true wholesale or dropship suppliers particularly on the internet. Also you aren't the only customer of that particular wholesale or dropship supplier and you find yourself competing against other ebay sellers selling the same item.

Price Competition

It's starting to get to the point where it is becoming harder and harder to make much profits out of selling items. Reason is because there is too much competition among ebay sellers. Since they are all selling the same item, the only distinct advantage they have is price.

Shipping Problems

In some cases, there are shipping problems that you need to handle. For example, the customer did not receive the item, the item was damaged during shipping etc.

On top of all these problems, there are the customer support which can take up your time. If you are doing wholesale or dropshipping, then you need to balance your finances and cashflow ot ensure you got money to pay the suppliers and get new stock.

All in all, running an ebay business can take up a lot of your time. When I was doing this, I was spending 12 to 15 hours a day doing the shipping, labeling, answering customer queries, support, listing new items, negotiating with suppliers etc. Sure, I was making money but for the work I was doing, it was not worth it and if I stop working on my business, the income would just stop as well.

Nowadays, I do not sell much items on ebay. I still do but I mainly sell informational products which is much simpler and can be automated and you do not need to carry any inventory.

I highly recommend any one to want to make money selling on ebay to sell informational products since it is a lot easier and the profit margins are higher.
