Those patients successfully maintained the lost weight and did not gain any weight even after a period of six months. Contradictory to this, those patients who were given placebo started to gain weight.

The studies show that Reductil is a very effective dug for weight loss. At the end of 18 months, it was seen that 80% of all patients on Reductil had maintained their weight loss and did not regain any weight as opposed to 16% for placebo.
