Trilastin Stretch Mark Cream
Stretch marks on the skin typically occur when the body experiences rapid weight gain or weight loss. The most common reason for stretch marks are pregnancy in women, increased muscle size or body bulk in bodybuilders and weight trainers, as well as growth and height spurts for adolescents during puberty.
When skin is over-stretched or stretched too fast the elastic fibres which make up its composition are "torn" and the result is scar tissue exhibiting a red or purple color on the skin.
The texture of the skin may also change, displaying a puckered or indented appearance.
Stretch marks usually fade over time and remain visible as a silver or white colored pattern on the skin, however the texture remains the same. For some people stretch marks do not fade in color at all and remain the same no matter how long they wait.
Genetic and body composition factors are known to affect stretch mark formations and if you're predisposed to developing stretch marks or a close relation exhibits the same severity there may be little you can do to prevent them forming.
However, there is a solution to reduce the appearance of stretch marks and the texture of the skin named Trilastin; a topically applied cream developed especially for the treatment of stretch marks.
Trilastin is an advanced formula designed to prevent the breakdown of skin tissue which causes stretch marks in the first place, as well as providing the necessary proteins, elastin and collagen required by the skin to help repair existing stretch marks.
Trilastin cream is applied externally to the skin on affected areas and it is important that the user be consistent in application to see the best results. By applying the cream twice daily an improvement can typically be seen within two weeks, although a number of people reports the best results after 4-6 weeks of continuous usage.
The results found from using Trilastin are generally permanent, however it may be necessary to use small top-up periods from time to time to maintain the effectiveness.
There's also no restrictions on where the cream can be applied to external skin (it cannot be applied to internal or broken skin) and works equally well on the whole body.
Make-up and other skin creams such as sun block can be applied after 10 minutes. It works on all skin types including dark, African American and ethnic skin.
Stretch marks that are newly formed on the body tend to be red in color, as mentioned above, and older stretch marks show a silver or white appearance. Therefore, older stretch marks respond to Trilastin treatment just as well as new stretch marks on the body.
