Should the Individual be Allowed to Speak Out Against the Mindless Masses

So often when someone speaks out to yell that the emperor has no clothes they are struck down by society or the establishment. So often Humpty Dumpty has a great fall and although he was pushed no one ever tries very hard to put him back together again or say they were sorry.

In the Republic, Plato discusses the problems with the hurtful rabble-rousers to the establishment, yet the bigger issue is that the individual will end up rallying the masses to a different cause. So, now I ask; Should the Individual be Allowed to Speak Out Against the Mindless Masses? Or to warn them of Tiger Traps ahead? Well certainly not if the ruling class wishes them to fall in.

If the individual with important information is not allowed to speak then well, I have a little bit of problem with this. Believe it or not the Socialist Movement really does not want the individual to speak out as much as they wish to be called liberals. (consider the Dictionary Definition for this particular comment, not the modern day liberals actual actions).

We all know that humans are afraid of change and thus you would be causing your human civilizations into stagnation and de-evolution; organically and technologically. The Individual is the one who brings change. You are an individual and you wish to change things perhaps. See my point? Well, I certainly hope that this article helps propel thought in 2007 and allows you to see thru the fog into the reality of the true fabric of society, warts and all.
