Hard Way is the latest Contemporary Country CD released by the extremely talented Clint Black who once again has delivered a brilliant collection of tracks. I'm confident Clint Black fans, and Contemporary Country fans alike will be pleased with this one.

Clint Black has been a super star in the Contemporary Country genre for quite some time now and Hard Way is an excellent illustration as to why.

Hard Way has a nicely varied, mix of 10 tracks that are very well written songs by this clearly superb artist. With many of the songs displaying a lot of the kind emotion that makes for a really great listen. Seemingly drawing from what I can only imagine are him own real life experiences. At different points touching on the most real emotions like love, heartbreak, pain, failed relationships and unattainable romance. They're all here.

I'm of the opinion that Hard Way is certainly Clint Black's best work in a few years. A totally enjoyable CD and an outstanding release. What I call must have music. I give it two thumbs up because it's a collection that even the casual Contemporary Country fan can appreciate and enjoy.

While the entire CD is really very good some of my favorites are track 1 - We Tell Ourselves, track 3 - Something To Cry About, and track 5 - When My Ship Comes In

My Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [...as in "Stuck On REpeat"] is track 7 - There Was Never A Train. It's a great track!
