You can ensure take you keep unnecessary energy consumption to a minimum unlike the vast office blocks with millions of lights burning endlessly by a couple of employees. A computer uses relatively little power and I find a single power efficient light bulb is all you need for your work environment.
You control how much waste you create. You can even ensure the business follows strict recycling if you desire.
By having an internet business you conduct commerce in one of the efficient manners possible with as little damage to the environment as is possible, particularly if you products are electronically based. No fossil fuels burnt shipping. Minimal energy required.
Further you can enhance you little home businesses environmentally friendly practices by ensuring the home garden has plenty of trees, plants and other nature friendly things. It also ensures you don't become too glued to the computer.
