Have Greater Insight and More Inspiration

A few months ago I injured my left shoulder and now everything I do takes more effort. When our whole body is not working together we cannot be as efficient as when we are in good health and physically fit.

Well, guess what? The same is true of our brain. After all it's part of us. Have you ever heard that you're a right brain or left brain thinker? What if you were a whole brain thinker?

More and more research is discovering that the difference between achievers and those that struggle to achieve is their ability to use their whole brain for thought and decision making. What an incredible bit of information! When an autopsy was done on Einstein's brain it was found what was unique about his brain was the number of neural networks, the number of connections between his right and left sides.

I know you've heard the term being in the zone. If you've ever watched Tiger Woods particularly on a Sunday afternoon when his game is on you'll notice his sense of focus. Some fans have accused him of being aloof but when he's in the zone he is not focusing on the crowd, only his game. I'll bet you've had experiences where everything just clicks for you. It may have been a moment or a day but everything just went right for you. I often experience it when I'm preparing this newsletter. After studying and reading articles about my topic all week when I finally sit down to write, the words and ideas just begin to flow out.

So here is the BIG question. How can we get into this whole brain space more often?

Well as it turns out it's something that is covered on my website in several places. It's brainwave entrainment. Wikipedia says "Brainwave synchronization, also called brainwave entrainment, is a private case of functional brain connectivity concept, whereas functional connectivity is defined as the temporal correlation between spatially-remote neurophysiological events, expressed as deviation from statistical independence (temporal correlation) across these events in distributed neuronal groups and areas, which produce the brainwaves" What that means to me is building connections (neural networks) between both sides of the brain to encourage whole brain thinking).

This brings us right back to binaural beats once again. Using binaural beat recordings for 20 to 30 minutes a day is like taking your brain to the gym. I will not go into depth here about how they work because that information is available from professionals on the web just do a search on "binaural beats". Suffice it to say that they have been proven to improve whole brain thinking, they work.

As you apply the Law of Attraction one of the steps to success is to envision your desires, to go into the silence and focus on seeing yourself already possessing whatever it is you want to be, do or have. If you're only doing this with half your brain your not going to have the same results that you would have using your whole brain. Those times of great inspiration and Ah Ha moments come when you're in the zone and that takes using both sides of your brain.
