Most people do not really know what goggles are because the difference between them and a binocular is not clear for them.

This happens because the two of them are very similar in the way they look and the way they are used.

The main difference is that while the binocular has two objectives, the goggles have only one.

This aspect gives you a different visual perception when wearing goggles than with the binoculars.

The goggles have the advantage of being cheaper than the binoculars and less heavy.

This makes the goggles easy to manipulate without the hands unlike the binoculars because they can be hold with a helmet.

Besides these details you have to consider what you need the system for before choosing between goggles and binoculars.

Because they weight less and they are able to provide quality night vision, goggles are the choice if you intend to use them for special operation and observation.

The binoculars are not usually used in these situations because of their bad mobility.

Anyhow you have to be aware that in general cheap goggles mean that their quality is low.

The systems that are used for these kinds of goggles are inferior to the ones used by the military agencies for example.

If you only need night vision from time to time maybe it would be wiser to purchase goggles and not binoculars.

The fact that goggles are way easier to be used and carried is essential.

Maybe the night vision goggles that you will buy are not as good as the ones used by the army but they have many chances to help you.

The night vision goggles available to the public are inferior to those used by specialists but they are good enough for what ordinary people need.
