If you prefer the old ways, the affordable and the easiest hair replacement method, you can settle for hair pieces. Hairpieces are still the same as the old ones: wigs and toupees. They can be made from natural human hair and synthetic fiber. They are attached in the head in different ways depending on the hair loss case of the individual. However, any hair salon or club follows more or less the same procedure for all individuals who uses hair pieces.

Hairpieces are considered non-surgical hair replacement. The reason is obvious - it does not require any surgery. In fact, the procedure is so easy that you can do it at home. However, there are means of attaching the hair piece in a way that only hair experts can attach. Also, it could be too stable that you cannot get the wig alone. You just have to visit the hair salon to remove it and replace it. Maintenance of hair pieces and attaching it every now and then is one feature of this hair replacement method.

Depending on the extent of your balding case, hair pieces are attached through adhesive and sewing. For those whose hair loss case is severe and there is already little hair left, an adhesive must be distributed in the scalp. Consumer agency for Cosmetics and Colors advised that people who opt to put adhesive to the scalp should be tested first for sensitivity or irritation to the chemical. Hair pieces can also be attached through sewing or hair weaving. In this case, it should be done in hair care salons for stability. Besides, attaching the hair piece needs to be done by experts otherwise it may destroy the existing hair that will be used to attach the hair piece.
