Sacred Love - Finding Love Step One
Finding love everywhere is the first step. Witnessing love in all it's available and free forms is the first thing. You must take this witnessing with you when you enter a relationship. If you enter a relationship, and the only place you can see and feel love is in your lovers arms, then you are going to be hyper sensitive and sabotage the relationship.
Learning to love in a relationship is a wonderful thing. But the whole world is also lovable and loving. A beautiful piece of ripe fruit is as worthy of your admiration as your partner. If you can understand this as a single person, and not forget it in a relationship, your love will, more than likely blossom.
Relationships don't repair problems. Love repairs problems. So, instead of loading your relationships with your problems, let love cure them. Loving nature is the key. I have found the love of nature the most wonderful gift. It is really natural for us to feel alive and vital in nature, and it is easy to become disenchanted without it.
People find their appetite for food drops when they are in nature. They are not so hungry for stimulation, not so afraid, not so lonely. And in our cities, nature is getting more and more distant from our way of life. We are loosing something precious and therefore, we have to make an effort not to become disconnected from all that is important.
Ipods, DVD's, cars, fashion, shopping with credit cards, are all great conveniences, but each of them takes us further into our own little worlds. They isolate us from the healing beauty of nature if we are not careful and therefore cause us to be disenfranchised from the world.
Just one flower in a bowl, a fallen leaf on a plate, a twig that is left from the pruning of a tree. Anything, and everything can become a sacred and beautiful reminder of the power of love, and the importance of nature in our lives, but most importantly, in our relationships.
