If they like your blog word of mouth will get the idea spreading and more people interested in following your blog. There are also blog communities that one can join and get paid for the entries that are written. Make sure to take time to research companies before applying to write for them. If a site sounds too good to be true it may be a scam. Find a site that shows reviews of companies and whether the company is legitimate or not so that you can make an informed decision. Look at different blog for pay sites to see which one will give you the most money for your work. Make time to look at what skills or experience you need to do such a job. Some sites may want a certain amount of education or a resume to show what writing experience you have. Be prepared to show them what skills you have in the area of online blogging.

There are also sites that use writers to write for them. You would get paid for your content but your name may or may not be used for the article. This may not work if you are trying to blog and get yourself recognized in the online community.
