A brand new Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of The Patriots trailer made its debut at the Tokyo Game Show, and it is time to analyze it. Some scenes from the trailer are convoluted, so it is arduous to piece everything together. The trailer began with a paranoid Naomi Hunter who was on the verge of being attacked. The scene shifts over to Meryl and her teammates in the battlefield. She and her team is then ambushed by many guards. One of her squad mates (the guy with the Mohawk hairstyle) shoots and kills these guards. Then, Snake was seen interacting with a monkey (I am dead serious) and a weapons dealer. Here is where the trailer gets more and more chaotic. There is a scene with Olga's daughter (Sunny) talking to Naomi. Her role in Metal Gear Solid 4 in unknown, but she is bound to have a role somewhere along the way. The trailer also shows Eva calling herself Big Mama for some absurd reason. Ocelot, Liquid, and Arsenal Gear were also in the trailer. After that Snake performs a close quarters combat maneuver, taunts, and intimidates a soldier. The new trailer concluded with a guard who we presume to be Johnny taking a crap. Avid Metal Gear Solid fans will definitely recognize him to be a facetious character. He was the same guard that was going to the bathroom every five seconds in the original Metal Gear Solid. If anyone is wondering what the hell is going on in this trailer, then I am just as lost as those people are. This is the most disjointed Metal Gear Solid 4 trailer. Personally, I felt like this was intentional in order to prevent spoilers. Metal Gear Solid 4 is slated for a 2008 release date.
