Many people do not know Allah. This series is an attempt to help them in order to know and acknowledge their Creator.

Verses 7:7-9 of the Noble Quran talk about: 1) Allah decides who have lost their souls, 2) Was Allah absent from the conveyance of His messengers? 3) Was Allah lacking from the response of the people when it came to pass? 4) Allah says: the weighing of your deeds on the day the Day of Judgment is the true, And 5) The Precise and Fair Scale on the day the Day of Judgment

The meaning of verse 7:7

In the previous article, you have seen that verse 7:6 says that: Then verily Allah shall question those to whom the Message was sent, that is, Allah shall question those communities, about their response to the messengers, and to what extent they implemented that which was conveyed to them; and We shall question the messengers, about the conveying of that Message.

Then verse 7:7 says: And We shall narrate to them with knowledge, We shall inform them, with previous knowledge, of what they did; for verily We were not absent, when the messengers were conveying the Message, nor were We absent during the time of bygone communities and what they did.

In other words, Allah shall narrate unto them, inform them with knowledge, with elucidation, for verily Allah was not absent from the conveyance of the messengers and the response of the people when it came to pass.

This will happen on the Day of Judgment

The meaning of verse 7:8

The weighing, of deeds or of the scrolls of these deeds shall be  in a balance that has a tongue and two palms as scales, on that day, that is, on the day of the questioning mentioned, namely, the Day of Resurrection, the true [weighing], the fair [weighing]. As for those whose scales are heavy, with good deeds, they are the successful, the triumphant.

In short, the weighing of works on that day the Day of Judgment is the true just weighing. As for those whose scale is heavy with good deeds, they are the successful the ones who escape Allah's wrath and torment.

The meaning of verse 7:9

And as for those whose scales are light, because of evil deeds, those are the ones who have lost their souls, by causing them to travel towards the Fire, because they mistreated, they knowingly and willingly denied, Our signs.

In other words, as for those whose scale is light with good deeds: those are they who lose their souls by being punished (because they disbelieved Our revelations, Muhammad and the Quran.
