List Building - The "Secret" To Making Money In An Internet-Enabled Market
Collecting e-mail addresses should be a no-brainer in an Internet-enabled market. E-mail is so commonplace and pervasive that its existence and use are many times taken for granted.
There's really not a way you can NOT earn money from your opt in list. If you build your opt in list and keep relationships with your subscribers your opt in list WILL bring you income.
Building and managing an opt-in list is commonly practiced by numerous sites on the Internet to maximize their visibility on the World Wide Web. Remember, building and managing an opt-in list is the ideal and simplest option to increase website traffic.
Visitors that sign up at their favorite website's opt in list can receive updates on products and services offered by the site. Having your own opt in list is essential if you want to succeed on the internet.
For example, if you are selling candles, email them a tip on effective candle burning, some safety tips, or even announce the newest scents available. E-mail is also rapidly moving from a textual communications process to one that is rich in multimedia content via server-based streaming audio or video. Probably about ninety percent of my time online is spent at the sites I've already visited, respect and trust to give me the content I want.
By offering information, which your visitors will find useful for free, you can get them to sign-up to your list. The best way is to distribute free reports is via an auto-responder delivery system. You can set it up so your visitors will receive their reports on specified days of the week/month.
Your credibility as an expert in your field can then be established. Keep that in mind, and you'll do a fine job of building an effective list. List building is not a get rich quick method but it is still extremely effective.
