Pets Articles - Top Ten Dalmation Things (And What Can Dalmation Training Do)

Now here are top ten cool things that only dalmations, and no other dog breeds, do! How many of these can you apply to your dog?

1. Even if you teach them to fall asleep in their basket, these dogs will find ways to crawl to your bed and snuggle under the covers too. Imagine a 32-kilo dog with neither a bang nor whimper, all cat-like stealth, quietly snuggling close to you to claim its share of cottony acres. Predictably, imagine too, the amount of cleaning.

2. Most Dalmations like watching animal wildlife on TV. Some dogs will also howl or sing along to the tunes. But a few will want to be around during your favorite TV program since they know they get unlimited belly rubs beside you!

3. Some dalmations will clam up, and seem to sulk, when scolded for anything. They would totally ignore who told them off and would sleep their worries away. But upon waking up they magically have no idea of who offended who.

4. Some dals seem to sense when their owners are down in the doldrums. They would hurry to be by their master's side, and will put their heads on their master's lap. This ability is definitely something that is beyond Dalmation Training.

5. Some Dalmations are total monsters when it comes to the objects around them; they seem to want to swallow literally anything in their path! Owners talk of an assortment of objects being whisked away: knickers, socks, tea towels, even remote controls and cellphones! Given the opportunity, dalmations will also dive straight into eating the unthinkable: sheep or horse poo!

The Dalmation Training solutions? Get household objects out of their reach, and de-worm the dogs regularly if they are helpless with eating livestock animal poo during walks. In fact, experts advice that owners not dwell and worry too much that their dog eats poo.

6. What about sneakiness? The dogs have a secret way of detecting if something has been left within reach. No dog can seem to match the way a dal grabs something and runs away from the scene of the crime.

7. To continue number 6, none can seem to indicate that the dog is in on something... until it starts running like mad! Nevertheless, dals will not balk at the hand reaching to grab away from their teeth the needed item.

8. Now this is something related very much to the dog's bursting levels of energy: for the sheer fun of it, they seem to like bumping through people. Be warned, dalmations are at home with physical roughhousing and head-butting fun.

9. Dalmation puppies seem hypnotized by the noise made by plastic bottles between their teeth. Cheap as these toys are, responsible owners take off the tops and labels, as these can get swallowed. Those that look too crumpled will need to be discarded lest sharp fragments get swallowed.

10. Some dogs can be noticed moaning or grunting whenever their sleep is disturbed. The owner is also bound to hear plenty of grumbles and sighs that only Dalmations can make, but also when their chin is stroked, or when their ears are rubbed, which will more or less elicit a satisfied cat-like purring.
