First of all, allow me to explain to you why I am giving out this information. My husband and I have pursued the entrepreneurial carrot for years before getting into network marketing. Let's face it people, we hated our jobs and we deserved to be self-employed. I can safely say that you do to; otherwise you wouldn't be reading this. We have done many things ranging from catalog home parties; corner hot dog stands, eBay stores, personal development products, and complete financial education programs. There are several things we have collectively learned along the journey and we have seen many successes and more failures in this industry than we care to mention.

We have worked very hard over the years in searching for the perfect business that will bring prosperity and abundance to our lives, which is what everyone wants, desires and deserves. We have been involved in many businesses that were very promising and rewarding. Something that we have found over and over again is that most companies are missing something very important that makes the business model complete. Since our discovery, it is only fair that we put this information out to everyone seeking this reward to help reduce the "quit and failure" rates in this industry.

Sit tight and grab onto to something because what I am about to reveal to you may be shocking, startling or just plain scare the you know what right out of you!

In network marketing, there are tons of companies promoting products, compensation plans and easy to follow, duplicatable systems.

For example, the sales pitch is this...

1. You are not required to do any selling, telling or explaining, the system does that for you.

2. You are not required to stock or warehouse any products; the system does that for you.

3. You are not required to answer any questions; again the system does that for you.

4.All they are saying is that you just bring qualified people to the table, they will do all the cooking and serving for you, and you get paid.

This all sounds like a really good system.You may be saying, "Wow, I can do that! It's so easy, there is no way to fail, I don't have to do anything, and they do all the hard work for me!"

Then you get started. You're excited and anxious. You plug into the training calls that take up most of your day, leaving little time to actually operate your business. You are overwhelmed with one success story after another. (Again making is sound easy) You follow the "System" and you do exactly what they told you to do.

A few months roll by. You're still buying the recommended leads. You're throwing money into ads in newspapers. You're spending hours on the phone looking to make a sale. When the perfect prospect finally shows up, you're now searching endlessly for 3 way support to sell, tell, and explain for you. Frustration sets in. Money is being wasted. You still haven't made your first qualifying sales to start putting money in your pockets. Your bank account is dry and your patience is gone. You eventually quit and right it off as "Well, I figured it was all too good to be true!" You go back to your miserable job with more feelings of failure and remorse than what you had to begin with. Only now you feel like your dreams are flushed down the toilet.

Sad story isn't it? I know, we've been there and done that... a few times! Is there an answer to this? Is there a way to keep this from happening to you? You bet! The answer is finding the missing link. So let's take a moment here and go over a few important facts,

1. 86% of home-based business owners report being happier running their own business compared to working for someone else.

2. 92% recommend working from home to others.

3. Less than 10% of Americans are self-employed, yet they control over 90% of the wealth in this country!

Let's stop right there for a moment. Take a look at this next list of facts,

1. 90 - 95% of all home business starters never make any money, or very little and quit within 3-6 months.

2. Those same percentages of "business owners" spend thousands of dollars on leads and advertising without any results, which is reason #1 why the quit.

3. About 40% of the business starters invest their money and then never work the business.

4. Most people getting involved in the home business are promised immediate outrageous results just for buying in and then are disappointed when the money tree doesn't produce money!

Now let's take a look at a particular business model and examine what exactly it's "selling" its potential distributors.

Business Models:

Any network marketing, direct sales, MLM (multi-level marketing) company all have systems in place for you to follow, and swear up and down about the support and training provided. As long as you follow this system, take the advice of the sponsor, be coach-able and trainable and not reinvent the wheel you will have success. That's true, to an extent. Unfortunately, most companies are missing a very important ingredient that makes it all completely work. Take a look at some of the "systems" that are out there. This is what they will tell you are required to become successful. (Quick Note: If you've been called by a rep, this will sound familiar. If you are a rep, again, doesn't this sound familiar?)

The System:

1. Lead Generation: for those of you who are brand new to the language, this is simply getting people to opt in and look at your opportunity. There are several ways to generate leads. What they will tell you is to run a newspaper ad, magazine ad, place fliers on telephone poles, talk to (chase) your friends and family, internet ads, or go the easy (and very expensive) route and purchase "business opportunity seekers" leads. Some even have approved lead vendors affiliated within the company. (Keyword - affiliated)

2. Once you get your leads, however you go about getting them, call them up and "qualify them" for your time.

You ask them a series of pre-written questions by following a provided script and determine their answers to qualify them as serious or curious.

3. Put them through the system. You instruct the serious leads to attend a live/recorded business overview call, or send them to your website to get all the juicy details.

4. You follow up with them, either they call you or you call them back. You take their temperature based on the information they received. If they rank high enough on the scale...

5. You 3 way them over to another leaderto get their questions answered and collect the decision. After the 3 way, if they say yes = you get paid!

Very simple isn't it? And by the way... they say that you only have to work your business a couple hours a day to get results. (Tempting, really)

Company Training:

Most companies have some sort of training involved through live calls - scheduled throughout the week or even recorded versions on a specific number and some even have web-meetings in their back office. This makes it convenient to people that are still working their J-O-Bs to get the necessary training to run their business compliantly. (This is also included in the pitch)

Within these training events, you are taught how to prospect (talk to people), how to do 3 ways, and how to sign people up. Some even throw in the psychology and mindset training to mentally prepare you for all of these. They offer support from many other leaders including your sponsors, and that support generally refers you to "see step one, two or three" Or my favorite... "You haven't purchased the high dollar level and until you do you wont make any money and I wont work with you" I personally love that one!

Either way, support is provided and every now and then you actually get a sponsor that will truly advise you and help you, without actually giving it to you. If you are one of the few that gets an up line like that, consider yourself very fortunate! This system actually works and few people are seeing results by this.

But there is still something missing.

Something very important that will literally put you on stage in the next company event. Something that will change everything about your business and make you THE TOP INCOME EARNER. Something, and I would bet, that none of these so called "company super stars" even know.The suspense is killing you, I know... bare with me… its coming. The missing ingredient is actually in the name itself. "Network Marketing" Do you see it? It's as plain as the nose on your face...Give up?

It's Marketing! Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! You win a prize!

Its step one! It's the end all be all! It's the most valuable tool that you must learn how to do in order to succeed in any business, online or off!

"Well, that was easy."

Hang on there's, more...

Do these companies teach you how to market their products or business opportunity…? (Please, if you are not sitting, do so now) Drum roll please...The answer is...

NO!

"Why?" You ask...

I'm so glad you did.

The number one reason is quite simply this... (Again, sit down and brace yourself)

They don't know how! Ta dah!

There you have it. That's why most people fail in this industry, simply because they don't have the missing link and run out of money before they find it, if they ever do!

Unfortunately, this is an industry of business ownership occupied by people who have never been business owners. For the most part, the necessary know how's and disciplines are completely oblivious to them. Most people don't realize that this is a business of marketing and promotion filled with people who have no idea how to market and promote!

Go figure!

Understand that this business is all about marketing! Hence "Network Marketing"

Warning! The Following information may not be suitable to all viewers, please be advised.

When you do this business right:

1. You don't have to "sell " anyone or convince them to join.

2. You don't have to waste your money on buying leads.

3. You don't have to ask them to join your business, they ask you!

4. You don't have to post "work at home" fliers on telephone poles or gas stations and supermarkets!

5. You don't have to bug your friends or family.

6. People pay you to prospect them!

7. Anyone can duplicate your success just by plugging into the system, therefore less chance of attrition.

8.You and your team members make cash quickly, even from people who don't join your organization.

9.You won't have to take out a second mortgage to cover your advertising expenses.

10. You don't have to worry about making ends meet and stress over the bills.

11. You don't have to concern youself with losing everything you've got!

12. All you will have to do is simply open the doors, and let them in. If, and only if, you do this business right!

The problem is that the majority of network marketers and home business owners don't do it right, because they don't know how to market!

Now, for those of you who are already in this industry, you may be wondering...

"Yeah, but, what about so in so that makes $147,000 a month, or this couple that gets the "star of the year" award for most sales... how did they do it if they don't know how to market? They all say to just simply follow the system and that's it... Answer that one!" Fair enough... they won't reveal their secrets...

So, I'LLLL tell ya!

For one thing, most of the top income earners in any network marketing company has paid their dues. They will tell you that. Whether it be they tried and failed for 20 years before they hit the winning numbers or had enough money stashed to pay someone else to market for them. Or, where able to take out a loan, or borrow the money or tap into their 401K (they may not tell you that).

What ever the case may be, they finally hired someone to market for them and generate their own live high quality leads. (They won't tell you that) If they are experienced enough to have figured out how to market their business, they either don't understand it well enough to explain it to others or they simply don't want to put in the effort to teach and train people.

I believe that the simplest answers are most likely the right answers, they just don't know how. Otherwise, why wouldn't they teach you? It would benefit them as well if their down line can duplicate what they are doing. Now, they will tell you to go the easy route and buy leads and work the numbers until you get established, or place a simple 3 line newspaper ad that will give you leads.

Quite simply because they know that for the average Joe, like you and me, that gets suckered into the "ease" of the business opportunity can't afford to pay someone A LOT of money to advertise the right way or to market their opportunity. Plus... the majority of people getting started in this industry are tired of their miserable lives and are flat out broke and desperately looking for a way out. Then, fall prey to a "get rich quick, simple plug and play system" because they will do anything to get what they want.

For those of us who do not have an Uncle Bob that could or would loan us any money, or have that 401K or trust fund to tap into, or have lousy credit and the bank wouldn't even loan us a dime, or have a house full of kids and time is a precious commodity. There is finally a solution to our problems.

You actually have a few choices

1. You can spend months learning how to research and market online. Go through trial and error and waste a ton of money testing the net out with pay per click advertising (Google can be brutal) or spend several hundred dollars and have Yahoo or Google "place you in the search engine directories" for a fee. (By the way, they don't guarantee you will be accepted and submitted but you still have to pay them the fees for considering your site and then wait FOREVER to see it there)

2. Hire someone to build you a marketing website, submit it to search engines and host it for you. (By the way, this cost anywhere from $350 on up plus the monthly fees. And who is to say they know what they are doing as far as search engine optimization. (Plus, they're leaving your money on the table--more of that later) Annnnd, you still have to drive traffic "people" to it -- more out of pocket money)

3. Go with what the business reps tell you. Spend all your money on leads and newspaper ads. File bankruptcy, lose your house, get divorced and never reach your dreams of being a successful entrepreneur.

4. Or... Invest in your present and learn everything possible up front before you get started. Even for the veteran entrepreneur, though you cannot go back and make a brand new start, my friend, anyone can start from now and make a brand new end. Learn everything you can about a business before you get started and even after you have joined, learn as much and spend as much necessary to broaden your knowledge of marketing your business. (FYI- a lot of what you need is free, however some is not, you just need to know where to look and trust)

Quite simply, the choice is yours. But be-warned, if you do not know what you are doing in this business, you will not succeed. Period. End of story. Remember, This type of business is solely related to marketing and promoting by people who haveno idea how to market and promote!

The sensible option is the 4th option. If you are serious about starting a home based business, whether it is selling vitamins, lotions or potions or whatever you find out there, there are rules to the game that the majority of players don't know and don't completely understand, or simply won't tell you. Which is why there are so many struggling and failing in this industry. Why not be the one to make it happen before you begin the process.

Even the ones that are in this industry already can now breathe a little easier knowing that there is someone out there willing to truly help you succeed. Someone that has the experience under their belt that knows which way to turn at the fork in the road of success. You Deserve to Know How To Survive In Your Home Based Business!
