Bath Robe Blues
In general, in both movies and on television, bath robe wearers are often put in a bad light. Often times, a person who is wearing a bath robe will usually be performing some simple task in the most inept manner possible. Probably the most common of this goof ups will be the silly person who walks out their front door wearing a bath robe and the door closes. Lo and behold, the dopey person is locked out and hilarity ensues as they fumble their way through getting back into the house. Yes, this is another highly simple task that the robed one can not perform with any success. And if they're not fools, they're lazy, coffee stained, disorganized, and generally disheveled.
But bath robes aren't only for common fools or people who lounge around on the couch all day. They are quite comfortable; and can help you relax when you need to. In fact, a great many professional people own a bath robe or two as evidenced by the prevalence of designer robes on the market that are made from high quality material that costs a fairly significant amount of money!
Now, this is not a reason for people who are on a budget to fret the ability to afford a decent bath robe. Even though many bathrobes are expensive, there are still some available on the market that wont cost two arms and a leg. In fact, you should be able to find one that is quite cheap, provided that you are willing to accept something less than silk.
