National Painting Company Honoured at Prestigious Ceremony

Painting and maintenance contractor J & S Seddon has been awarded a top accolade by the industry's trade body.

 

The Painting and Decorating Association (PDA) presented their 2008 Special Award For Excellence to the national contractor.

 

Independent judges selected the company for the honour at the PDA's annual Premier Trophy Awards - held at the magnificent Painters' Hall in London by the Association - the trade body representing painters and decorators across the UK.

 

J & S Seddon Painting was chosen for the award for their work in training, quality and their commitment to raising awareness of the industry.

 

David Powis, Chief Executive of the PDA, said: "The Special Award For Excellence recognises high standards within a company and achieving the accolade is a very special and fantastic achievement."

 

Stuart Seddon, chairman of the company, received the award. He said: "It came as a real surprise, but we are absolutely delighted our work has been recognised in this way."
