Virgin Mobile is known to be the world's first Mobile Virtual Network Operator. Today, Virgin Mobile is now the United Kingdom mobile phone service providers' favourite brand used. But history of Virgin Mobile does not matter so much now to its many subscribers in United Kingdom. What matter now are the different tariffs offered by the company.

Just like many other network providers, the Virgin Mobile offers Pay As You Go and Pay Monthly tariffs.

Virgin Mobile Pay Monthly Deals and Tariffs

What makes the pay monthly tariff the best option is that it offers subscribers a free phone. However, the subscriber should have a good credit before he is allowed to enrol in this Virgin Mobile tariff.

Anyway, there are two Virgin Mobile tariff options on Monthly Payment and these depend on the length of contract. This can either be the 18- or 12-month locked contract.

For the 18-month tariffs, Virgin Mobile offers the cheapest Virgin £12 and the most high-priced Virgin £40. The Virgin £12 provides 150 minutes of calls and 150 texts. Meanwhile, the Virgin £40 offers 750 minutes of calls and 750 texts. For the 12-month tariff, on the other hand, Virgin Mobile also offers the same cheapest and costliest plans, however, with different deals. For the Virgin £15, it offers 50 minutes of call and 100 texts while for the Virgin £40, it offers 500 minutes of calls and 500 texts.

The text service applies only to the United Kingdom, UK mobile phones, and UK landlines.

These monthly deals and tariffs offered by the Virgin Mobile already come with free phone. But the choices depend on the monthly plan that the subscriber wants to enrol in.

Also, as added Virgin Mobile deal, the company offers free sending of voicemail messages in the entire United Kingdom. Itemised online billing also comes for free.

Virgin Mobile Pay As You Go Tariff and Deals

Unlike the monthly payment, pay as you go offers no locked long term contract. However, the mobile phones provided are not free. But the subscriber can still use the Virgin Mobile services through the Pay As You Go Virgin Mobile Tariffs.

The three tariff options available for subscribers are the Pay Monthly and Pay By Direct Debit, Pay As You Go Tariff, and Daily Bonus Tariff.

The Daily Bonus Tariff offers different bonuses daily depending on the number of calls or texts that the subscriber used. Calls with this tariff option costs 15p per minute to all UK landline and mobile phones. But if the subscribers made at least 5 minutes of calls to these numbers, he will get 5 more minutes of calls for free. The subscriber can also get 5 free texts if he sent 5 texts to any UK mobile phone or landline in a day.

Moreover, the Pay As You Go Tariff costs 15p per minute of call. But after the first five minutes, the subscriber is charged only 5p per minute. Other charges differ on using WAP, text, video calls, and International calls.

Meanwhile, the Pay Monthly And Pay By Direct Debit offers almost the same tariff as the Pay As You Go. However, the groupcall and freephone services are offered 15p per minute in this tariff compared to the 10p per minute on PAYG. But these two services qualify to 5p per minute after the first five minutes, unlike on the PAYG that does not.

For subscribers looking for other mobile phone services, there are still other offers, tariffs, and deals with the Virgin Mobile.
