Got your first big date with the woman of your dreams lined up and you don't know where to go? Here's a laundry list of several date destinations that are sure to make her sit up and take notice.

1. The beach
Australia is peppered with dozens of beautiful beaches and, chances are, there's one that's close to you. A beach date is an excellent way to get to know her right away and to see how hot she looks in a bikini.

If you're buff and chiseled, it's a perfect opportunity to show off your fine form. And if the date flops, the beach provides some saving grace: you can try to enjoy the sun instead or soak in all the eye candy around you.

2. Billiards/Pool
Billiards/Pool is fun, especially if you know your way around the table. If she's an eager learner, you can teach her a thing or two about shooting pool -- an excellent chance for some close physical contact.

3. Mini Golf
Like billiards, mini golf is an enjoyable activity that encourages close physical contact, particularly if you have to give her some lessons about how to successfully make a putt. Women who are even just a tad competitive always enjoy a round of mini-golf.

4. Rock & Roll Concert
For those rare occasions when your favorite rock band is in town, taking her to a rock concert for your first date is not such a bad idea and an excellent way to hit two birds with one stone.

Yes, the ideal first date puts a premium on conversation, but a first date with a lot of screaming and loud music could be a refreshing change of pace.

5. Picnic by the water
You don't have to go on an expensive date to make a good first impression. If rock & roll isn't your cup of tea, perhaps a nice, quiet picnic by the river will be more to your liking.

Going on a picnic is a great way to get to know each other better since there will surely be plenty of conversation. It's time to hone your sandwich and sangria-making skills.

6. Gambling
Is your date a bit of a gambler and adventurer? Maybe a night out at the casino is what gets her fired up. Can you just see her now blowing on your dice to bring you luck? And just imagine how thrilled she will be with you if you both manage to win a pocket full of cash.

7. Miniature F1
Most women find speed exciting and those uber-competitive babes will always love a miniature F1 racing challenge. It's also a chance to let her see the Michael Schumacher in you.

8. Fortune Teller
Women have this thing about fortune tellers. They just naturally want to know what the future brings. One thing you can expect her to ask is whether a new love is just around the corner. And if the answer is "yes", she could just train her sights on you.
