Having Fun With Samsung F480 Tocco
The Samsung Tocco now enables you to copy images from one location to another not unlike other Samsung devices where the images are only stored in one place. The two view modes when browsing images are the list view and the thumbnail view. Browsing images is very easy because all you need to do is sweep your fingers across the screen to move to the next image. You can zoom the image in and out but doing this is may be irritating because the transition is very slow. It is rather slow because zooming the image is done in small zoom steps which lead you to go through several steps just to obtain more detail.
Picture gallery in Samsung Tocco is nice thought it has several problems. It is hard to view images that are taken using the phone itself. When the image is enlarged pixels are visible and somehow it is not able to display all the colors of the image. But once the image is downloaded on to a computer everything is fine.
The music player almost does anything you want it to do. You can filter sound tracks by album, author and genre. It also displays the tracks that you just listened to. Like Windows Media Player you are able to create your own play list, display the album cover and most of all it plays in the background.
Even though you are not on the main screen of the music player you can still control the tracks that you listen to through the music player widget located in the home screen. Equalizers were also included in the music player that is not present in other Samsung devices though LG Viewty has also its own audio equalizers.
Another nice thing about the Samsung F480 is that its FM radio feature is quite advanced compared to other FM radio features seen in other mobile phones. Like Sony Ericsson's TrackID , F480 also has integrated music recognition.
