Contact lenses are originally intended for corrective purposes: Toric contact lenses for treatment of astigmatism. However, in the advent of several doodads and thingamabobs (and several silent pleas for more appealing contact lenses), colored contact lenses are conceived into these optical labs of the several eye care giants such as Bausch & Lomb, CIBA Vision, and Johnson & Johnson. Now they make cool contact lenses that are also corrective and therapeutic at the same time.
That makes fretting a nonsensical posture. You need your glasses for your eye condition, but who says you can't be cool at the same time. Here are some examples.
For Astigmatism
Nerdy boys and girls don't have to exist. Because you have astigmatism, you need to have toric lenses to correct your vision. But then, you'd also have to look cool. Nowadays, you can choose from a wide variety of fresh colored contact lens with corrective refraction lens for your astigmatism. You don't have to look nerdy, or sucking because you have the opportunity to wear the eye color of your choice. And frankly, only quite a few people can do that freely.
Non Corrective
Those that don't have eye conditions can also fit themselves with cooler stuffs. Frankly, they can wear a lot more stuff because non prescription contact lenses have the widest array of design. From mirror tinted (like Riddick's eye shine) to Vampiric design (like we see on Underworld) to all black, these are among the coolest contact lenses available.
