The act of saying thank you, in general, is usually forgotten and is done by so few. That is why sending a thank you note leaves a very strong impression, minimizes customer remorse and builds referrals.

Writing a business thank you card is one important opportunity to show that care for your customers beyond the company-client relationship because it would imply that you have dedicated a significant amount of time and effort to write it. Not only will the referral help you cut you way in looking for other clients, referrals also will help you save on your marketing costs. Sending a thank you note to the one who gave you the referral will show your appreciation and might just give you a few more because of your being grateful.
