My Experience With Online Get Rich Schemes

Hello, the objective of this article is to help anyone out there trying to build an income online, after years of sifting through all the crap I've come up with something worthwhile. I started looking for ways to make lots of money on the Internet at the beginning of 2004. Reason being, I couldn't stand my job (me and 90% of the working world) so I saved up a little money (the little I was making) and left. To be honest I hated working for someone else, and I really did not fancy going back to the drudgery of the nine-to-five. I'd heard and read a lot about people making absurd amounts of money online, and so I thought I'd give that a try. So off I went bound and determined to join the ranks of Internet entrepreneurs.... or so I thought.

During the course of a year I tried nearly everything I could get my hands on, from MLM (multi level marketing) schemes, a ton of "get rich quick" and "make money online" products, I bought countless courses; some were cheap (less than $100), others weren't. All of these programs were basically offering or promoting the same thing, "you don't need any experience to make a five figure monthly income". You see the unscrupulous people that put together these products leave out fundamental principles and techniques to ensure their continued success while everyone else scrambles to get a clue.

Not that I'm bitter but here are just a few to look out for:

The Rich Jerk

I bought this e-book in October 2004 This book was fair in that it covered a wide range of money making techniques but it was useful only for the advanced marketer. You had to have a lot of background knowledge to implement the techniques. When you look through the Rich Jerk forums, you can see clearly that people are lost. In addition the Rich Jerk tries to sell lots of other products to his customers, like for example a free website that's not really free because you have to pay for the hosting (for which the Rich Jerk makes a commission). While a lot of people have found the book useful, I think it would appeal only for a particular group of marketers. It was not something that benefited me greatly.

Forex Enterprise (AKA: "The Multiple Streams of Income System")

I bought this product for over $100 at the time and I must say that it was an extremely poor product back then. The members section was very poor, the website design was terrible and the product consisted of a wide variety of techniques all strung together in a one big mess. Unfortunately, the author recommended paid surveys (which is generally a scam) and a number of other moneymaking techniques which most people will not be successful in. More recently, the author has tidied up the product a great deal and has got rid of some of the nonsense. What you get is just an e-book that you read online. It covers stuff like affiliate marketing, creating information products, selling on ebay, adsense... While the new product is a lot better than what it used to be, there is still a lot left to be desired, and has no practical knowledge.

Ultimate Wealth Package

This product is at the same level as Forex. What I really dislike about all of these programs (Rich Jerk, Forex) is that they claim to give you a free website worth hundreds or over a thousand dollars, but in reality, you have to buy hosting for it. This will cost you about a $100 per year. They get commission for signing you up and you have no control of the products sold on the website. The same is the case with Ultimate Wealth Package. In terms of content, Ultimate Wealth Package provides the same as Forex Enterprise more or less, but it does add a lot of bonuses. The worst part of my experience with UWP was about a week after I bought the e-book I got an e-mail promoting their one on one mentoring sessions. At the time I thought "this is great someone can actually show me step by step how to make the big money" well after about another week and 4 conversations (including one with "the director") it turned out all they were interested in was wither or not I had $3000 dollars in my checking account (they actually ask that) today to invest in them and if not how quickly could I get the money. So not only is the information in the e-book readily available and for a lot less but they go one-step further and try to scam $3000 out of you for what???? A month of conference calls with 60 other people all as dump founded as the next.

Affiliate Cash Vault

This is a very bad product, and definitely not worth the money. I bought into it and realized like many other people that the quality was awful.

Robert Allen

I bought Robert Allen's courses due to the hype surrounding him and to be honest, for most people it would be next to impossible to make the kind of money he promises. He wants you get involved in real estate and stock investments - something that requires lots of experience/money and is not for the newcomer. His ideas on making millions from the Internet are the same as everyone else. It gives you a high level over view but nothing more. The seven I managed to get through are just the usual information you find in most other cheap products. I was disappointed to say the least! And for some of the techniques as I said, you do really need some expert knowledge, but Robert Allen makes it look as if it is so easy when it is not. I would advise that you do not invest in this product.

Last but no least, STAY FAR AWAY FROM SURVAYS! All they will do is consume and waste your time for nothing!

Well now that I'm done ranting, here's what You'll Make Money and Benefit from (I did):

#1 The Profit Lance E-course
I came across the author of this course in an online internet money forum who was offering to teach some methods he was putting into an online course. He wanted to test the effectiveness of the methods and whether the content of his course was easy to pick up on. He was planning to launch a the course later in the year. So I figured why not (I'd tried everything else). What I found with what was later called "Profit Lance" is that it is much more than a single e-book(s) that you read and find you're self confused. It is a complete online course and system that is designed to give members a thorough working and practical knowledge of Internet marketing, instead of just a lot of theory that the other products presented. There is also a great wealth of information in the members area subdivided into a learning area where you read and grasp the concepts and a practical / management area where you perform practical tasks.

There are a number of things that make this product years ahead of the rest:

-Once you invest in the program you are not sold anything else that you need to start benefiting from the program straight away (unlike the other programs)

-You are given a complete set of already programmed and hosted websites. About 15 in total for free. The people at Profit Lance set it up for you (and they do a great a job, all the sites look great). These sites are there to enable you to practice the actual skills in the course.

-There are certain practical tasks that you do to get hands on experience with the techniques, but you are also taught the significance of them and where they fit into the overall process.
This is really unique to this course.

-This for is the great - you get an online tracking software that allows you to enter and monitor your tasks and goals. Really helps for organizing your activities.

-If you have questions they respond and make sure you understand.

-Professional tutorial documents

-As you grow there is a separate and growing article base that gives more in depth info on the core topics in the course. This is very valuable in developing and growing your understanding. There is also a private members blog has been set up which gives some real great lessons in all areas, marketing, personal development and so on.

You can just straight tell from the professionalism of the site and the content that what you are getting taught is the real deal. It's what the so called internet "gurus" don't release or want you to know in case you reach their level.

I know it seems like I've gone on and on but if it weren't for this course I'd back to a J.O.B. and there's is a lot more to this course than what I've mentioned in this article. One of the biggest things I've learned from the past couple of years is making money on the internet doesn't happen over night, that's no to say it can't happen within a short time (like a month) but it takes finding an outstanding and credible source of knowledge and putting it into practice, and don't let disappointment take over. Give it a chance you're guaranteed to start making money within a month and from there you lay out where you want to be in year and go for it. So far to date I've made over $150,000 and in this year everything is on track to doubling it. I hope you find the same success or more. Thanks for listening now go make some money!
