I've Never - The Game Of Truth Review

Recently a group of my friends and I played the board game "I've Never" by INI LLC. The game is targeted at those 21 yrs and older, and is meant to get everyone intoxicated and allow players to have a few good laughs and a good time. The rules are very simple: roll a die, move spaces, do what the "I've Never" card says, and be the first to reach the end of the board. The spaces on the board can range from "take a shot", "take a drink", "jump on one foot for 30 seconds", "go back to start", "ask someone truth or dare" and of course "draw an I've Never card" When you draw a card the player who rolled reads what it says out loud and says whether or not it is true or false. My friends and I found this very boring and changed the rules so that all players would answer what was on the card. Some of the questions were very funny, such as "I've never crapped in my pants" and "I've never peed in the shower". We all had a good laugh at these questions. However the stack of cards is loaded with lame questions we didn't bother answering and tossed aside, such as, "I've never got an F on my report card" and "I've never did something I regret". Who cares?! We wanted wild and crazy questions like the box promised. There are also about 10 blank cards that you can write your own questions on, and they turn out to be far more entertaining than the questions they give you. My group of friends and I ranged in ages from 24 to 32, and we all felt the same way about this game. It was fun but not nearly as wild and crazy as the box makes it out to be. And after 20 minutes of playing, you no longer feel like moving games pieces on the board, you just want to read the "I've Never" cards; but you can't even do that for very long because the cards run out! My advice to you would be to just play the game of "I've Never" the old fashioned way; sit around, drink with your friends, make up your own questions and save yourself $20.00.
