In my opinion, this is one of the world's most powerful, secret remedies for any illness! I strongly believe that if we all drank the amount of water our bodies need, we would see a great reduction in all types of sicknesses. Most doctors say that we should drink at least eight 8-oz. glasses of water daily, but many people need even more than that. I have found that simply drinking enough water greatly reduces my likelihood for getting a yeast infection. Because I am drinking more water, and subsequently urinating more frequently, my body is able to flush out the sugars that feed the yeast.

Thrush mouth, oral thrush, oral yeast infection and oral candida are all names for the same medical condition which is a yeast infection in the mucous membranes of the mouth and candida albicans growing out of control is the most common cause of these fungal infections.

Do not use deodorant sprays, which are unnecessary and which contain chemicals that can irritate the vaginal lining. Moreover, it is important to note that the vagina cleanses itself by secreting a discharge which flow downward, removing bacteria, old cells, and menstrual blood when present. Normal vaginal discharge is minimal and is either clear or white and sticky.

Unfortunately, many people the Western world eat too much refined sugar and simple carbohydrates. This poor dietary choice has become a major factor in the increase in obesity and diabetes, and can increase the chances of yeast infections, too.

There is a proven connection between systemic yeast infection and chronic fatigue syndrome. Candidiasis is also responsible for skin infections and causes chronic vaginal yeast infections.

One thing that is rarely taken into account on lasting yeast infections is the fact that yeast is significantly influenced by the vaginas natural monthly fluctuating acid base (PH balance). The pH balance changes with monthly hormonal rhythms. Most women with yeast infections that last for months notice that the symptoms manifest or worsen a few days prior to the onset of menstruation and often clear up or improve when the period ends. Just prior to menstruation and throughout the time of the menstrual flow, the vaginal pH balance becomes significantly more alkaline, allowing yeast colonies that have been in a dormant state to become active and produce symptoms.
