Get Help for Sagging Skin

Looking for help for sagging skin? There are a number of specific ingredients that have shown great promise in clinical trials. It may be a little hard to find these ingredients, though.

You see, most skincare products are simply behind the times. The companies set up their factories to produce and combine specific compounds. They manufacture huge batches at a time. When something new and better becomes available, it generally takes five years or longer to see it in a big brand name. Sometimes, you never see the best ingredients in those products, simply because they are more expensive.

If you want real help for sagging skin, you need something different...something that the big brand names cannot provide. You might have to pay a little more, but you won't have to pay hundreds of dollars for a tiny tube, if you find the right company.

The price tag that you see on those pretty bottles, with designer names, has little to do with the ingredients that it contains. The price has a lot to do with licensing the use of the designer's name, advertising, marketing and the cost that goes into making the bottle.

The best skincare products come in plain opaque packages designed to protect the ingredients, not to attract customers looking for a pretty bottle. The company keeps their costs down and their quality up, because they don't advertise on television and they don't place glossy magazine ads. Advertising on the internet is far less expensive than advertising on TV and you reach a much wider range of consumers. The cosmetic companies don't seem to have caught on to that yet, either.

But, let me briefly get to the ingredients that provide the greatest help for sagging skin, based on the results of proven clinical studies. The first one is a powerful antioxidant extract from a type of Japanese kelp or seaweed known as phytessence wakame. This has been called a natural 'beauty preserver'.

Through research it was learned that one of the things that cause the skin to sag or lose its firmness is lower levels of hyaluronic acid. It was thought that we could boost levels of that amino, with the use of creams that contain it. Of course, that's one of the ingredients you will commonly see in anti-wrinkle, skin-firming creams.

However, researchers found that there is an enzyme called hyaluronidase that breaks down the amino, very quickly. So, their goal was to find a compound that inhibited that enzymatic activity. They found that phytessence wakame algae extracts would do just that. By inhibiting the enzyme, levels of hyaluronic acid begin to rise, increasing firmness and elasticity.

The second, but most exciting new help for sagging skin is a protein peptide extracted from sheep's wool called Functional Keratin which is contained in an ingredient called Cynergy TK. In clinical studies, creams containing it have been shown to increase the skin's firmness by more than 40%, in just a few weeks, while also boosting elastin and collagen, reducing fine lines, wrinkles and leaving the skin radiant and glowing.

The best manufacturers guarantee their products, test each batch for contamination and are able to change quickly, when new technology calls for it. If you really want help for sagging skin, doing your research like this will help you find it.
