The beginning of the new year is a very powerful time for many. While the credit card statements are coming in the mail, many think about how they can improve their lives for the better. Many of us are looking back at the past year and thinking about the goals and how we can change our life. Take an assessment of your life, your health, your business, and your relationships.

Many people just don't realize that we have the power to create our own life. If you have vision for the future you can determine anything you want. But many of you may wonder what should my vision be?

If you decide you want to change any of the following, write them down on a index card and read it to yourself twice a day. It will program your mind into doing just what it says on the card. Here's some ideas to start with:

1. Change your diet: How much sugar are you consuming? Our society is addicted to the sweet stuff and it's adding alot of additional calories. To be honest with you since I stopped drinking soda I have not been battling weight gain. Another idea is going out to lunch. It costs you extra time and money. Besides Taco Bell, KFC, or any fast food is laden with fat, chemicals, and junk to be honest.

2. Change your life and start exercising.: I'll be the first one to say I don't like exercise classes, or I don't have the time, or I don't want to pay for the expensive health club. But what is your excuse to not go walking. It's the perfect exercise. It's cheap, easy, you can do it almost anywhere.

3. Change your relationships: In a nutshell, whatever you pay attention to grows, and whatever you ignore dies. Keep priority in the ones you love, if they left tomorrow how would you feel.

4. Change Your Life and Start Thinking About Your Personal Growth: Alot of us stop growing after we leave school. We stop reading books, and stop spending our time wisely. Too much T.V. gets us nothing but parnoia of the world. The T.V. sends us messages on what they think is important. Each year I spend thousand's of dollars on seminars, books, tapes, and classes. I don't look at the world in the same way I did 6 months ago only because since than I've probably read about 12 books.

5. Change Your Life by living like tommorrow was your last day: Stop taking things for granted. Start telling important people in your life that you love them. Be grateful for everything you have, there are so many others who do not have much.

6. Change Your Life by establishing a relationship with God: Become a member of a church, find out what your purpose on this earth is all about. Get involved.
