Look To The Future Today

What are your deepest desires? Fame? Fortune? Incredible romance? A fantastic career? Whatever you want, you can have it! You just have to look to the future.
All things await you in the future. All things have the potential to happen. When you focus only on today, you miss the opportunity to plan for what lies ahead. When you focus on tomorrow and beyond, however, you can see what wonderful things could happen for you, and then take the steps to ensure your desired successes.
There are a few keys to getting the most out of a look at tomorrow. First, imagine your own personal paradise. What would it take to make that a reality? How long would you need to set it up? Once you have that ideal future in mind with a schedule, start working on it. Take the time, at least once every week, to review your status and progress. What did you do this past week? How did it help get you closer to where you want to be? Did you make any mistakes? How can you avoid making them next week? Did you lose faith in your dreams? How can you restore that faith?
A great many people never bother to consider what's coming up for them. They simply live day to day, enjoying what they can, but all the while completely at the mercy of external influences. If they'd only pause a moment once in a while and take a look at where they are in life, they could figure out where they'd like to end up. Then, knowing their desired outcome, they'd be better prepared to seize helpful opportunities as they arise. Instead, they never even recognize those opportunities, and are blown around in the wind for years. Some get lucky, and benefit from the kindness of fate. Most don't.
When you live without paying attention to where you're going, it's like you're driving a car with your eyes shut. Sure, you might end up in a nice place, but chances are you're really headed for disaster. When you open your eyes, and see what's ahead of you, you can adjust your route accordingly. Look to the future, see what you could achieve, and then go get it!
