Amway Still Alive and Well

I know you hear the word "Amway" and run or at least not call or come by anymore. But the good part is the products are still top of the line. Quixtar/Amway whatever they want to call themselves now is well established if not the most established network company in the industry.


The other day I was talking to an quixtar/amway IBO and she stated that she does very well with the company. She has been with them for 24 years and will not look at any other business or opportunity because she feels she has the best and is successful so why change.So then we started talking about her marketing strategies and she said , "all I do is give them the web site, let them go and check it out and then ask them to get back with me." She stated she adds anywhere form 2-4 IBO's each week and is very happy with that.


So how come she is successful when there are so many Amway/Quixtar owners unhappy? Primarily because her marketing techniques are very simple and she uses the longevity of the program to her advantage. Now granted 20-25 per week would be better, and she could do this if she wanted to, but her investment and pay off were in line so no need to discuss further.


The point is that she leads with the product and not the opportunity. So much of what is taught by Amway/Quixtar is to lead with the opportunity, not the product. Most network marketing programs teach that, which in turn is why there is a 95% failure rate in the industry.If you take the time to actually look at the Amway/Quixtar model one can see that you as an IBO make your profit from product sales.


Anyone can become an Amway IBO for a small fee. Now a lot of the groups out there want to tell you that they have the best support system and to buy into their team, but by definition you are an Independent Business Owner.So even if you are not in Amway or Quixtar, you must start thinking and acting like an Independent Business Owner and run your business how you see fit. As in the example above, this lady had her own thoughts and plan of her marketing strategy and she was happy with it.So next time you hear the word Amway or Quixtar embrace it, check out the product line. Then build your business around their strengths, the products not their marketing strategy.
